Daddy B's - Texas Spices & BBQ Rubs Daddy B's is a line of original blends of Food Seasonings and BBQ Rubs from Choice Texan Foods of San Antonio, Texas. The question then became....why not?

The Daddy B's Story

Some would say my passion for barbecue and cooking started as a little boy growing up in a small town in East Texas. Through a lot of experimenting, countless weekends and a lot of mistakes, I created some great tasting rubs, spices & sauces over the years. Although, it wasn't until we moved to San Antonio that my secret recipes became something more. Up until a few years ago, our spices were only enjoyed by close friends and family. It wasn't until our neighborhood held a barbecue contest, that anyone outside our family had tried my spices. After winning the competition two years in a row, friends began to encourage me to take my secret blends to the next level. After all, our spices are truly unique. Unlike many of the other products on store shelves today, our products contain No MSG, No Gluten, No Preservatives, No Artificial Colors, No Fillers and yet maintain unbelievable flavor and taste. So, we bottled our blends and traveled around the state to see if our fellow Texans liked our new line of quality Texas made spices. With the help of friends and family, we spent the next 16 months marketing our blends at local festivals, market days, farmer's markets, trade shows and Junior League shows across Texas. We found that "Quality Does Sell," and our products were received with overwhelming success and acceptance. That's how Daddy B's was born. We would like to thank HEB for giving us the opportunity to share our exciting new Daddy B's Texas Rubs & Spices with many more of our fellow Texans and look forward to making all our customers "Texas Proud".

Want the recipe for the best potato salad you've ever had? You're in luck, because we're feeling generous 😉

🥔✨ Country Potato Salad – A Family Favorite! ✨🥔

🛒 Ingredients:

4 cups cubed red potatoes

1 cup mayonnaise

1 tsp Dijon mustard

8 slices of bacon

2 Tbsp sugar

2 Tbsp Daddy B’s Southern Blend seasoning 🌶️

3 hard-boiled eggs, diced

1 stalk celery, diced

1/2 medium onion, diced

👩‍🍳 Cooking Directions:

1️⃣ Boil potatoes until fork-tender.
2️⃣ Cook bacon until crisp; set aside. Keep 2 Tbsp bacon drippings in the pan, then turn off the heat.
3️⃣ Add mustard, mayo, sugar, and salt into drippings—mix well.
4️⃣ In a bowl, combine potatoes, eggs, celery, and onion.
5️⃣ Pour the dressing over and stir gently to coat.
6️⃣ Crumble bacon on top, mix in, cover, and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
