💧🐟 LET’S TALK DRIP ACCLIMATING! 🐟💧

When our fish arrive from our suppliers, we don’t just open the bag and put them straight into our tanks!

At Autumn’s Little Critters, we drip acclimate our new arrivals to slowly introduce them to our water and give them time to adjust to different water parameters.

Why does this matter? Because these fish will experience another change when they eventually go home with YOU!

By taking the time to properly acclimate them when they arrive to us, along with our quarantine process, we’re helping prepare healthy, well-adjusted fish for their next transition into your aquarium.

It’s just another extra step we take behind the scenes because quality fish care starts long before they reach your tank. 🐠🫧

Healthy fish. Proper care. From our tanks to yours.

POV: You came for “just one betta”…
Yeahhhh, good luck with that. 😂🐟

These little guys have WAY too much personality packed into one tiny fish. Gorgeous colors, dramatic attitudes, and every single one acts like they own the place. 💅🐠

At Autumn’s Little Critters, our bettas are healthy, High Quality, and ready to find their new homes!

⚠️ Side effects may include:
• Buying another tank
• Naming your fish before you even get home
• Staring at them for an unreasonable amount of time
• Somehow ending up with “just one more” 😂

🐠 LET’S TALK QUARANTINE! 🐠

One thing that makes Autumn’s Little Critters different from your average tropical fish store is the care we put into our fish BEFORE they ever go home with you.

When new fish arrive, they don’t go straight from the shipping box to being sold. They spend time in quarantine where we closely monitor their health, behavior, appetite, breathing, and overall condition.

If we notice something that needs attention, we treat with the appropriate medications as needed and give the fish time to recover before they’re cleared for sale. 💊🐟

Does this guarantee that your fish can never get sick once they’re in your aquarium? No. Fish can become sick due to many different factors, including stress, water quality, temperature changes, tank mates, and changes in their environment.

What our quarantine process DOES mean is that we take the time to make sure the fish you receive from us are healthy and showing no known signs of illness when they leave our care.

So if you see us post new arrivals but they aren’t available immediately, this is why! We would rather make you wait a little longer than rush a fish out the door.

Healthy fish and happy customers come before making a quick sale.

That extra care is what makes ALC different.
