Later this year we will mark the 50th Anniversary of the purchase of Cowles Mountain. This mountain has become the most popular trail in San Diego, an important place for wildlife, and a landmark for our city.

We’re excited to now carry Mustard Beetle products in the MTRP Gift Shop! Mustard Beetle, founded by Elizabeth Jean Younce and based in Southern California, specializes in unique textiles and goods that highlight the beauty of nature. Their products are sustainably crafted with eco-friendly packaging and highlight plants and creatures one may find at Mission Trails.

Support the nonprofit MTRP Foundation by shopping Mustard Beetle products in the MTRP Gift Shop at the Visitor Center, open daily from 9AM-5PM.

Do you love Mission Trails? Put your retail experience to work and join a team committed to protecting and improving the park.

The Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation is hiring a part-time Gift Shop Sales Associate for the Visitor Center Gift Shop. Working 10-16 hrs/week, primarily on weekends, this individual will engage with park guests and facilitate sales that benefit MTRP. $20/hr part-time staff role; apply by Sunday, November 27. Harper Thomas from HT Seaglass will bring her handcrafted jewelry to TOMORROW’S Holiday Marketplace at the MTRP Visitor Center. Harper’s jewelry is made of salvaged seaglass, and are unique gifts and for others or yourself. Support Mission Trails and local makers, including HT Seaglass, tomorrow from 9am-3pm.
