"And now you know why you must come, Yvette. Tamo needs you, the Kingdom needs you, we all need you because we all need Lyanna, The Princess of December. Without her we will lose everything. The land will freeze and all the flowers and fruit trees will die. The seasons will disappear and leave only a cold, grey wasteland. Will you come, Yvette? Will you?"

And so, with help from Bomor and his magic arrow; the All-Seeing Waters; and a wise and friendly rose bush, Yvette and her new friends began to challenge The Ice Shadow and his dark powers.

THE PRINCESS OF DECEMBER is now available!

Growing up without a dad can be challenging. Teenagers often miss out on the special moments only a father and son can share, like playing catch in the backyard, fishing trips, or having heart-to-heart talks about life. For 14-year-old Doug Foster, these were experiences he could only dream of. But when his aunt and uncle become too difficult to live with, Doug embarks on a journey across San Diego in search of his father. What follows is an adventure full of friendly and strange characters who ultimately help him gain a newfound appreciation for his dad.

Doug's journey takes him from one end of San Diego to the other as he meets people who knew his father—fishermen, painters, librarians, teachers—each sharing their own unique stories about him. Some walk away without helping at all, while others share memories that help Doug to see his father in a way he never did before.

"A Time for Fathers" has something to share with everyone. Available now on Kindle or in paperback on Amazon:

"Years later, Gordian often recalled the case: a grisly tale of music, beauty, heartbreak and murder. The kind of thing that should be forgotten, but remains in the mind, year after year. Even more often, he recalled the lines from Poe that were at the heart of it all. "O! craving heart, for the lost flowers And sunshine of my summer hours!" Those lines, he knew, would remain with him forever."

A new mystery novel from George Kirazian: The Tamerlane Game!

"He thought about his father, or at least what he remembered about him. He hadn't seen him in more than six years. He had come on Doug's eighth birthday, with a red scooter. After that he just stopped coming. No calls, no cards, nothing."

Doug Foster, 14 and tired of living with his moody aunt and uncle, decides to search for his father. His journey takes him from one end of San Diego to the other, where he meets strange, quirky, but also friendly people who knew his father. Some of them just walk away and don't help him at all. Others tell stories and share memories that help Doug to forget his own bitterness and see his Dad in a way he never did before.
