HERO. ICON. BADASS...so many words for this inspirational woman.

It’s hard to describe what she has meant to me, as someone who has been working to overcome the results of a severe back injury and illness, she will always be a reminder that success in spite of disability and even because of it is possible. 🌸
Not to mention what a trailblazer she was in terms of lgbt and feminist expression, oh man I could write an essay...but I’ll stop myself 🙊

It’s hard to pick a favorite, but this one is definitely up there for me. How could it not be? The love of books and feminism combined is about as good as it gets.
How many have these have you read? And which is your favorite? The one that has stayed within me is definitely The Bell Jar. When I was assigned it for a class I had no idea what I was getting into, and it rocked me to my core.
