I got these paints from Amazon. They are very thick paints similar to poster paints.
There are lots of colors and I like to use these for terrain, stuff that does not require thin paints with fine detail.

Lot of good stuff can be found in the toy isle at your local store, but also check out the reptile and fish section too. There are many good, inexpensive terrain items to be found in those places.

This sphinx is a reptile toy for lizards to lay down on and rest from whatever lizards do all day.

There are many sphinx in Egypt not just the one at Giza, and some are pretty large. So I got this for more general use. James Bond was in Egypt and of course WWII had some Egyptian activity too.

Artitec makes high quality kits in HO 1/87 scale for advanced model builders.
The Churchill MK VII had very heavy frontal armor of six inches. Over 60 were used in the first few months of the Normandy by the British forces, mostly as command vehicles and as replacement tanks. General usage followed soon afterwards as production increased.

These were used as the basis for the Crocodile flamethrower tank, not included in this kit.

The Roco T54 project continues with watching paint dry in real time.
I have been painting them using spray paint. While I have an air brush and compressor, I seldom use it except for airplanes.

Most ground vehicles are painted by unenthusiastic artists and I suspect a rattle can is good enough to simulate that motif.

Mostly All Better

The Roco T54 tanks in my collection were in pretty ratty shape when I started this project. About 6 of them were retired to other roles due to missing, damaged, mis-molded parts. Four of them were unable to be salvaged do to the same reasons with not enough parts to create a full vehicle of any kind.

Roco Minitanks T54 seems to have had a hard life. I suspect at some point the mold was updated, or repaired and that accounts for some of the anomalies between vehicles. I suppose it is possible they had more than one mold for the same vehicle and they were different, although I think that unlikely. Molds are expensive and I can't imagine sales would have been that good to justify two molds.
