Wal-Mart, craft stores, and dollar stores often have little buildings for Halloween, Christmas and even for spring. Here are some springtime dollar store buildings that I have been touching up the paint and I think they look a lot better.
These are rather whimsical but they work for fantasy, for amusement parks, or themed neighborhoods, or even as individual buildings here and there with more common buildings.
I mostly use inexpensive paints on these buildings since there is often a lot of surface to cover.
