I know I haven't posted for a long time, but I'm still building dream projects when I can in between being a present husband and dad. I posted a couple videos of carving this polynesian style headboard for our bed and here is the finished version. This took me a long time to carve up and I decided to just focus on finishing it rather than trying to film everything, but it was worth it. There's A TON of detail on it and I'll share that later. So, like a good brother, I grabbed some wood cut it and drilled a bunch of holes in it. DONE! Ok, ok. Not done yet, but soon! Watch out ATX we're heading your way soon! The end of an Era. These are the last of these types of products for a while until after we move, which is looking like next year. Due to circumstances way outside our control we've had to stop taking orders for current products with the exception of the few items we do have left in our shop. It's bittersweet because we love building these products, but not having a true shop space is impractical and straight up exhausting. So I'm moving onto artistic and hobby projects I've been itching to do. Mainly involving Tiki culture projects. Plus, I have a new job back in the tech industry and I'm straight LOVING it and the people I work with. Currently it's the least stressful job I've EVER had, but also one of the most rewarding. So life is improving and we WILL be back to building stronger than ever. I'm excited to share the new projects I've already started, within the next couple weeks. Right now and above all I'm really focused on being husband and dad while soaking up as much of that as I can. That's my true calling. Remember to embrace life, my friends! It's a fleeting and magnificent thing.

Miss me? Check out this new personals whiskey clock on its way to its owner. This took me a while to do, but I love the way it turned out. Lots of things going on over here. We're still building and creating, but in a limited capacity, for now. I started a new contract position as a project manager for a growing software company and I'm LOVING it! It also is giving me time to hang with my fam and pursue my new hobby in Tiki decor (when it's not blazing hot or a monsoon). Most importantly it's helping us on our journey to move. No time-line but we're steadily moving in the right directing. Hope you all are well.

Had a client purchase our, what we call triple stave sconces, for above her store windows, but she had a specific vision and request. She wanted them to hang planters in her store instead of having lights and wanted the plants to look like they were floating in the windows. So at her request we attached strong little hooks behind the center stave so that they were hidden and boom! Success! It turned out great and she ecstatic! I love this unique use of our decor.

Another cryptic post. Hehehe. I'm very excited about turning these into what I have planned for them. I'm planning on building a themed table I've never seen before, but have been dreaming and planning recently. Any guesses as to what these maybe?
Hint: once I drill, cut, and sand these they will become visual ascents and integral to the structure. They will be attached to the table without glue, screws, or dovetails. In fact, they will be suspended.
