Avarca sandals are handmade by local artisans in Menorca, Spain with high quality materials such as natural soft leather on the upper and durable rubber sole. It’s an amazingly versatile sandal that can be dressed up or dressed down, but no matter which way you go, the timeless look will add a great touch to any outfit. For little ones, there isn't any other footwear more enjoyable and fashionable, with plenty of fancy designs that will make your kid to standout like a star when playing in the parks! Due to the popularity of Avarcas, some manufacturers have begun to produce fake imitations that are far from the authentic, artisan and top quality measures and materials used in the genuine avarcas. In an effort to protect the traditional Avarca handcrafted in the island, the local Menorcan government (Consell Insular) and the Shoemaker Association of Menorca (Associacío de fabricants del Calçat de Menorca) have developed the official "Product of Menorca" seal that ensures the high quality standards found in the authentic Avarcas sandals.
