Local Take San Francisco's favorite gift shop features local, independent designers and artists. Local Take is our love letter to San Francisco.

From the dark and gritty to the light and beautiful, from the rolling hills of Twin Peaks to the flats of the Mission, from the deep dark corners to the wide open spaces, we love all parts of San Francisco. All the beauty and creativity naturally occurring in the Bay Area is forever captured in the many creations of our amazing local artists and designers. There's an enormous amount of talent in t

his beautiful city of ours and we wanted to create a space that celebrated the art that is created here, and the artists that make it. Some of it is San Francisco themed, some of it is not… but it’s all gorgeous, unique and made in the Bay Area. Local Take is where you can:

-Find gifts for yourself and others
-Bring your out of town guests so they can find their perfect souvenir - the kinds of souvenirs people will actually love and use
-Decorate the walls of your apartment
