COMMUNITY SUBMISSIONS FOR LE VITRAIL VOLUME 2 ARE NOW OPEN! 🥀

Good news for everyone!
The Le Vitrail team has been working diligently over the past two months and we have already started work on our brand features for Volume 2! We heard your Vol. 1 feedback loud and clear, and we're so happy to announce that we are ready to accept content submissions for Volume 2!

What we are looking for:

It was an honor to work with two wonderful designers on these looks for the collaboration fashion shows. Huge shoutout to and for their show-stopping beautiful work! The ooohs and ahhhs could be heard around the whole convention center!

Due to several factors, I must stop shipments to the EU once again.

Since the new EU GPSR began in 2025, I have had more trouble shipping to the EU than ever before. Even with diligent checks and an appointed representative, several orders for Le Vitrail were stopped in customs and never delivered, but were marked as “returned” while I never received anything back. I had to pay to ship each person a new book and cover the cost of the books, extra items, and shipping myself. I lost thousands of dollars because of this!

Now, the EU requires that I add a cancellation button to my site for EU customers that allows orders to be cancelled up to 14 days after the order is placed with a full automatic refund, or until the order ships.

For items that are ready to ship, this does not cause issues, but this is not something I can risk for preorder/MTO items.

Once an order is placed, I order the materials to make the items. If a customer places an order and changes their mind after I order the supplies, then I am stuck with having paid for the (very expensive) supplies, or the materials costs increase due to the lowered sourcing quantities.

If I do not comply with this regulation, then I can face massive fines from the EU and the order cancellation window will be extended to one full year without my consent.

Between losing several shipments, paying several hundred Euros for a compliance representative, and now the risk of orders being cancelled after supplies have been ordered, I do not want to risk losing more money.

I am so sorry to my EU customers! I hope to find a solution soon, but for the time being, I must request that all EU customers use a US-based forwarding service until I can find a better system that does not carry so much financial risk.

I think it’s been far too long since I’ve had a shop update, so let’s do one Friday! 🍁

I have a handful of items leftover from Fanime that will go up for sale this Friday at 8pm EST. I’ll have a few necklaces (VERY few rosaries, a few black and dusty rose Claudias), a couple floral coffin rings and brooches, a handful of earrings, and some other various items.

Although the update will be small, there will be some lovely pieces consisting of new and highly limited floral choices and special color combinations (including a Sanguine piece!)

San Jose!! Are you ready for 2026?! I know I sure am!!

We are so excited to get this convention started and I am so honored to be a special guest this year. Come buy some limited Néant pieces, learn how to make stained glass with me in Stained Glass 101, and watch the fashion shows to see the looks and and I worked together on!

The final preview for is ready: Obake Corsages! 🏵️🌒

These very limited corsages are handmade from start to finish, using salvaged kimono silk and traditional stained glass making methods. The orange silk came from an antique furisode that was recycled for other projects, and the black corsages were made from silk purchased from a contemporary kimono maker in Kyoto.

Although these are something I will likely make again, this batch is extremely limited for this year’s Yokai-themed convention!

In the West, we celebrate our “spooky” season in the fall with ghost stories, campfires, pumpkin treats, and all things Halloween. In Japan, spooky season is celebrated in the summer, with stagnant warm weather and moonlight setting the scene for the most unsettling stories of ghosts, shapeshifters, and all manners of Yokai & demon folklore woven into traditional culture.

Featuring ghostly higanbana, crimson dahlias, warm colors, and the iconic stained glass and silver Néant coffin charm, these are sure conjure feelings of something otherworldly walking alongside you through a hot Summer night.
