A couple little pieces I’ve been working on. I’m starting to become obsessed with the red in the first painting. It’s like cholula- goes with anything— oh and that’s Hazel… (I used powertexusa powertex_international powerwax on top to tamp down the shine. I love that stuff so much ( #📷 )

I love Fall and harvest time! The Mountain Harvest Festival is this weekend in Paonia. There is so much to do!

The Grapevine Gallery will be happy to see you in TWO locations. Stop in at 220 Grand for the gallery AND in the park for the first time. We will be near the stage.

Have you ever wished fabric would stay exactly where you put it?

That wish is where every piece in this carousel began. A cotton T-shirt became a flowing gown. A thrift-store doily became a glowing ghost. Strips of tarn wrapped an angel's body, and torn cheesecloth became her wings.

The secret is a textile strengthener. Powertex Universal Medium soaks into natural fibers and dries permanently hard, not just stiff, so every fold holds for good.

We're a small, family-run business in Sanford, Maine, and the exclusive U.S. home of Powertex. I'm Cheryl, and I've been teaching mixed media for over 15 years. My daughter Sage keeps everything running behind the scenes, and Keri Woodall Sallee, our Social Media and Education Lead and a certified Powertex USA instructor, brings so much creativity and heart to everything we share.

Powertex is so much more than a fabric hardener. Artists use it to sculpt, paint, add texture, and transform almost anything into something lasting. Whether you're brand new or have been creating with it for years, we're here to help you make something you love.
