“I’ve had to walk away from a couple of people I really cared about. Not because I stopped loving them, but because I got tired of doing all the caring on my own.

A couple of people got so focused on what they thought was wrong with me that they forgot to look at themselves. And I kept overlooking it out of love, out of loyalty, until it drained me.

Then it hit me—staying meant always trying to prove my worth to people who never stopped to think about how they treated me. So I chose myself. I chose peace.

Even when it hurt, I walked away. Because I finally realized I deserve the same grace I kept giving everyone else.” 💜
