Green Thumb Farms Green Thumb Farms grows fresh local vegetables to create sustainable practices in San Juan Bautista We cultivate in a 4 acre farm in sunny San Juan Bautista.

We grow a variety of crops, our main focus is to take care of our soil. You can find us selling our products in the San Francisco Farmers Markets 4 days a week at the Foodwise Ferry Building Market and Heart of the City in the Civic Center. We also run a CSA program from the Central Coast all the way to the Bay Area, East Bay and North Bay. Freshly cut vegetables that our team harvests with love for you!

Today, we celebrate not only Rebeca, but all of the incredible moms who pour their hearts into raising the next generation. Thank you for the sacrifices, the endless love, and the traditions that keep families connected.

Our handcrafted salsas are inspired by our family's heritage and made with the love and recipes passed down through generations. Every jar is a reminder of the meals, memories, and moments shared around the table.

A huge thank you to PVUSD for making this possible. An experience that connects students directly to the people who grow their food.

Watching students meet local farmers, ask questions, and learn where their food comes from is something truly special. These moments plant seeds that go far beyond the classroom. They help children understand the value of fresh food, local agriculture, and the hard work that goes into every meal.

As someone who grew up in this community, it is incredibly meaningful to see my hometown school district changing the way our kids eat. Prioritizing fresh, local, and healthy foods while creating opportunities for students to build relationships with the farmers who feed our community is powerful.

This is more than a farmers market it’s food education, community connection, and a step toward a healthier future for our children. When kids know their farmers, they become more curious, more connected, and more willing to make healthy choices.

Thank you, PVUSD, for leading the way and showing what is possible when schools, farmers, and communities come together to nourish the next generation. 💚
