While we wait to start painting the floors, I figured it was the perfect time to start knocking out some of the smaller projects for the shop. These metal arms were in desperate need of some love, and look how beautifully they’re cleaning up already!

Now don’t get me wrong, I love a good patina, but these bad boys were way past “aged charm” and firmly into “please save me” territory.

I cannot wait for you all to see the finished pieces once everything comes together for The Twisted Dragon.

The dragon is under restoration. 🐉

Today’s project at The Twisted Dragon has been repairing one of our guardians after some battle damage. We’re rebuilding cracked sections, reinforcing weak points with copper armatures, filling fractures, and hand-carving details back into place once everything cures.

Some of the glowing blue in the photos is UV resin curing around the repair points, which honestly made the whole process look like forbidden dragon surgery and we are absolutely here for it.

We love showing the behind-the-scenes parts of building this space by hand. Every repair, prop, shelf, and weird little detail is becoming part of The Twisted Dragon’s story.

Also as this dragon statue has a resident spirit she’s super hard to photograph!
