Amy here…It’s taken me almost a week to post about this special bouquet and the most beautiful person it was made for. This may be a long post, but it’ll be worth the read because it is truly the “why” of Wild and Free Farms.

One of my most dear friends, Jessica Stanton Riccio, asked for an arrangement for her baby girls first birthday. I was beyond the moon that she asked because she knows ALOT of people since we were in the wedding planning industry together, but she still chose me.

This was a gift I didn’t take lightly, and I chose the most perfect flowers for her most perfect little girl Olivia. When I delivered them I promised I’d share the reasons I picked some of these flowers, I just couldn’t do it then because I’m a sap! So here goes…

I chose sunflowers because I can’t look at them without thinking of the song “You Are My Sunshine”, which I am sure Olivia is to her🌻. I chose a delicate form of pink baby’s breath, for obvious reasons 💕. I chose hares tails grass because they look like baby bunny tails 🐰I chose cosmos that were bright and big and open and some that were still blooming, because Olivia is just starting to grow into who she will become 🌸. I chose snapdragons because they are my favorite flowers, and they make me think about my mom 🥹. And I chose forget me nots for Jessica’s mom, who she lost last year, to remind her and Olivia that they have the most beautiful angel watching over them 👼!

Wild and Free Farms was built around emotions. It’s what Jessica Bly and I felt when we watched things grow. It’s how flowers picked us up on our toughest days. Our hope is to share that feeling with as many people that we can reach. And our promise will always be to put our heart into each bouquet we make 💐
