I offer custom orders, & sell made items in Coffee on Crawford, Happy Bean, Shallow Pond, & Mtn. Hi, I'm Paige- a farm-based maker at the top of a quiet road in Hawkeye. I create small-batch natural goods from the heart of our homestead, where bees buzz and my girls run barefoot in the grass. From soothing balms to folk tinctures, each item is made slowly, in step with the seasons and the old ways

- often at my kitchen table or tucked into a nook while the baby naps. I started this work out of a longing for things that feel real, grounding, and good - and I hope it brings you a bit of the same steady warmth. It means more than you know.

I don't think makers show this side of handmade enough. 🥲

This shirt has humbled me. The first shirt somehow got a stain, so I ordered another and started over. Weeks later, I finally finished this one… only for my sewing machine to leave a mark. I tried to clean it and ended up lightening the fabric instead. At that point, I was in tears.

I messaged my friend, showed her what happened and refunded her because I just couldn't feel right charging her for something that wasn't up to my standards.

And she liked it anyway. 🥹 She still wanted it and reminded me that a little spot doesn't mean it can't still be loved and worn.

I still don't know exactly what this sailboat shirt was supposed to teach me. Maybe, fittingly enough, it's learning that I can't control the wind.. I can only adjust my sails when things don't go the way I planned. 🤔

Sometimes handmade is just… handmade. Sometimes things go wrong. Sometimes you lose money. Sometimes you seam rip, start over, and still don't end up with perfection. 🥴

Apparently August requires doing everything at once 🤪

Just a little update! Things may be a little quieter here for the next few weeks. We’re getting ready to head camping, then jumping into a new homeschool year with my daughter, canning & preserving all the garden goodness, AND I’ll be sewing away preparing for my September market! 📚🍅🫙🧵

So if you don’t see me posting quite as much, I haven’t disappeared! Just enjoying my family and creating when I'm able in this busy season.

Laurel Hill State Park, but growing up, we always called it Trent. 🤎🌲

This place holds such a special place in my heart. We’ve been going there since I was a little girl, and now it’s one of my favorite places to take my own family.

So of course, I had to turn that beach view into a patchwork Polaroid!

One last sneak peek before tonight! 🐟

Here's a few close up details before this one of a kind appliqué sweatshirt goes live. I'll post all the details later.

So I cut out each individual piece of the fish and pinned and cut to the fabric, fused to denim, and stitched each stitch using my regular sewing machine.
