OLD-SCHOOL RESPECT – When the owner of a 1977 Mercedes 450sl came to us, he brought some product he was looking to have installed. He checked our reviews so he felt comfortable bringing his car to us. We installed a 4-channel Kicker Key amp to power Kicker KS components in the front doors, giving them a clean, loud sound. DELIVERING VALUE – The new owner of a 2024 Jeep Cherokee came to us looking for the best way to add a little more bass. He was happy with his factory speakers, and he was was also OK with keeping the stock radio. When a pre-built loaded box was not the right answer, this owner got the advantage of our experienced staff’s depth. One of the other professionals stepped up and told the owner we could get him two subwoofers for the price of one. We showed two Hypnotic HW12D4 and demonstrated them powered by the Hypnotic 1600-watt amp at 1 ohm. With the deep discounts on our sale merchandise, we were able to add the 12DQV ported enclosure and the Divini 4-gauge amp kit. The total was a little bit more than the loaded box, but he was getting a lot more bass. When he heard the system, he said. “Wow, I’m more than happy,” and we earned another repeat customer. CUSTOM TREATMENT – High end cars require ambitious solutions. When the owner of a 2026 Genesis G7 came to us, he wanted nothing more than a boom. With space not being a limit, we got a little bit creative. Rather than go with an off-the-shelf loaded sub box, we took measurements, and decided to use not one, not two, but three Kicker L7R 10-inch woofers. We paired these with the EPIC2000 from AudioControl, and got to work. The spacious design of the trunk allowed us to be very straight-forward with our box design, neatly placing the woofers in line, facing outwards. A simple beauty panel gave a really nice window for a custom fit, allowing the woofers to breathe and flex. Once tuned up, the 10’s have a low rumble but a fast response, keeping up with the customer’s preferred music. It was an ambitious job, certainly, but the result was a happy customer. NEW RIDE, BETTER SOUND – There just wasn’t enough bass in a 2026 Civic, so the owner came to us to improve his sound. After listening to the factory system with him and letting him listen to some proper mids and highs, the system quickly grew to include a five-channel amp with front components and sound treatments. Then the owner happened to mention he really hated the Honda touchscreen’s user interface and that he wished he had more money to upgrade that too. Progressive leasing was the answer. The owner quickly fell in love with the Alpine ILXF511! Our skilled installer massaged things a little so that the Alpine screen snugged up to the dash nicely. The result is one of the best looking floating screen applications we’ve seen!
