I’ve been so bad at posting here but I’m much more active on tik tok! Follow me for more recent freshwater antics. This is my newest set up (two months ago but haven’t posted much on here!) it’s the 90L from . It’s stocked with an apisto borellii pair, 10 corydoras, 20+ chili/strawberry rasboras, 12 ember tetras, 7 cardinal tetras, a blood red tiger pleco, 2 mystery snails, and a ton of Ramshorns! I plan on adding a few more chilis, one or two more embers, and potentially some amano shrimp.
This is my first tank where I haven’t had bettas as the center piece (don’t worry I still have way too many bettas in way too many tanks). The center piece fish here are the apistos, which have been so amazing and I’m so happy with my choice. They are beautiful, not timid, and are not at all aggressive toward the community. Their names are Mimi and Mo and they are a lovely bonder pair.
The light arrived on Monday and it has been such a game changer. It’s a WRGB II- a huge upgrade from the cheap amazon light I had in its place until it arrived, which grew plants but was not nearly as powerful. The depth of color, ability to customize and power level of the Chihiros is next level!!!
