NOT ALWAYS EVERYBODIES “CUP OF TEA! “ I have to admit, and you guys have seen, I LOVE doing the HUGE, BIG, OVER THE TOP, BAM! ARRANGEMENTS and sometimes, for some reason, people just don’t want HUGE, BIG, AMAZING, BAM!arrangements. (Which is hard to understand!! 🤭). They just want something nice and sweet to give as a gift to say “Thank You” or “Happy Birthday” to a special friend. Or some want me to make a beautiful, meaningful, cup and saucer even more so to be displayed. So, OKAY. I enjoy doing the Tea Cups too!! It’s been working perfectly for those small gift needs. Everybody seems to love them, but I have to say MY favorite is still the HUGE, BIG, AMAZING, BAM! arrangements !! 💕

Sometimes people ask WHAT TYPE OF FLOWERS ARE SHOWCASED?? WELL, NO CLUE! They are “Forever in Bloom”, not technically “real” and usually I have no idea. LOL! I just buy the ones that are pretty or have a unique look that I think someone will love ! These purple ones, yup, no clue, pretty green little ball thingies, nope!!! It is an awesome hobby and I just fly by the seat of my pants MOST OF THE TIME! So far it is working!!

SO, why are you doing flowers?? ALOT CHANGES IN A YEAR!! “SIMPLE LITTLE SHOWER” Last year at this time “Aunt” Amber Young Ruggles and I had a SHOWER for my beautiful pregnant daughter. A “little “ over the top kind of shower” if any of you know ME, that would not be a suprise!! AND flash forward a year, and now we have a PERFECT beautiful Grandson named Gideon, who has completely stolen our hearts. So, why did I start doing Flowers? I was watching Gideon everyday and after finishing up last year, Brynn decided to not return to teaching, SO she would be home with him full-time. Now what?? Danny said I had to find something to do and I said what??? AND he said, “do Flowers, you do good Flowers and you like it. “ SO, I did Flowers and I’m loving every minute of it. The only thing I’m loving a little more than my little hobby is being a GRAMMA to a perfect little boy! Here are some pictures from that “SIMPLE LITTLE SHOWER” we had for Brynn and Gideon. Looking back, I guess maybe I did enjoy doing flowers, just a little! 💕

“It looks like her smile.” Thats what I told her mom. Gail Rush has a vase. A beautiful wooden vase, that belonged to her beautiful daughter Courtney. She wanted something beautiful and something “like Court”. So, yesterday, I picked up the vase and said out loud, “Court, what would you have liked”. So, I just started … and didn’t stop until I was done. I just kept thinking of Courtney, and her simply AMAZING smile! And, I prayed for her mom and thanked God for the strength He has given and continues to give Gail everyday. So, I got done, and thought it turned out BEAUTIFULLY, and I stood back, looked, and said out loud, “Court, it looks like you smile!” Her beautiful, big, bright smile. And, I hope EVERYTIME Gail walks by it, she thinks of Courts smile too.

I just think this is PRETTY! MY MOTTO-DO NOT DO MATCHY MATCHY!! People would probably say purple and light blue maybe don’t go the best together but I think colors and designs being different, now, that’s what makes things beautiful. I never try to match anything, I just pick WHAT I LIKE! What are my favorites and I put them together!! Because I choose what I love it usually, no, it always works out!! So find somethings you love. Pick out your three favorite colors … that you think don’t go together, that maybe completely clash even, add a vessel that people would NEVER think of using, take all that and LETS PUT FLOWERS IN IT!! CHALLENGE ME. I can add some Wildflower FLARE! I CAN MAKE ANYTHING BEAUTIFUL!

BRING IT! Lets FILL IT WITH FLOWERS!! So, a very good friend of mine did. EXCEPT what she brought were very cool pieces that she does NOT have room for in her new house! And, she said FILL THEM WITH FLOWERS!! So, I did. Took this one to Antique Days and off the shelf it flew. Thanks to her, I have several really neat vessels just waiting for flowers. If you cant find your own perfect VESSEL, I have several for you to choose from, passing on as a free, no charge, take it, LETS FILL IT WITH FLOWERS perk!! YOU can pick one or tell me what you want, AND, then, I will happily, FILL IT WITH FLOWERS!

This is my latest Ferg’s window creation! Created for Aledo Antique Days, which was a success!! Fall theme, so it will be a minute, but then, like ALWAYS, there will “Ferg’s Window Retiree” Give Away. Stay tuned!! (The now “vintage” tractor belongs to my son, who says I cant give that away, so just the flowers will be up for grabs!)
