Second Use Building Materials Seattle's and Tacoma's largest selection of architectural salvage and reclaimed building materials.

For over twenty years, Second Use has worked to reduce waste through diverting reusable building materials from the landfill and providing the public with high quality, affordable salvage. With locations in both Seattle and Tacoma, their ever-changing stock of reclaimed building materials is harvested locally from homes and commercial spaces slated for remodel or demolition. 3,000 tons of doors, cabinets, windows, lighting, lumber, hardware, furniture, and more are diverted from the landfill each year through their SODO retail outlet. This process provides both a more affordable, sustainable alternative to buying new and a mechanism for passing on the stories that inhabit the homes and businesses of the Puget Sound region. Last year, we hosted a Fall Harvest Festival, and this year, we're making it bigger, and we're combining it with some of our favorite things: REUSE AND REPAIR 💚

Not only that, but we're bringing it to Reuse Commons Lake City, where we can have a warm community space to host the festivities. Seattle ReCreative will be hosting a mask-making activity, Labels Consignment will have some costume materials for sale, and Cascade Cody and The Warshington Apples will be playing throughout the evening.
