Philodendron Rio 🤍🌿
I just love the way this plant grows. Hanging, trailing, or mounding… it looks good however it does it.

Easy, happy, and the leaves are seriously so pretty… like somebody hand painted them.

Prince of Orange is definitely some kind of royalty with this beautiful color!
I love how the new leaves come out this gorgeous vibrant red. With a slow turn to green as the new leaf hardens, you get color for months.🪴

Slice an Alocasia corm into four separate possibilities ?

We’ll see what happens.

Honestly half of growing plants is experimenting and a little bit of chaos. And a lot of dirt. Dirty Dame babies soon 🫶🏼🪴

I’ve been struggling with this Alocasia corm for awhile now. I finally pulled it out of the moss today and realized one corm had three leaf sprouts coming off of it 👀

So of course instead of leaving it alone like a reasonable person, I cut the corm into four pieces and put them into a sphagnum/perlite propagation box 😂

We’ll see what happens. Honestly half of growing plants is experimenting and a little bit of chaos.

Propagation box update 🌱

About a month in and things are definitely happening… roots popping, new growth pushing, and a few overachievers already trying to take off.

1️⃣ Fresh cuts, into the box
2️⃣ Roots starting to do their thing
3️⃣ Settling in real nice
4️⃣ Little overachievers 🌱🤩

Propagation box update 🌱

About a month in and things are definitely happening… roots spreading down, new growth pushing, and a few overachievers already trying to take off.

Not everything takes, but that’s part of it—and honestly, watching what does take off never gets old. Same excitement every time.

I’ll let these keep doing their thing a little longer, but there will be some babies ready for an up pot soon 👀
