At Uwemo Applications, our goal is simple: to create apps that are genuinely useful and make smart devices even smarter.

Alongside our broader work, we’ve also been interested in contributing to the digital infrastructure of Gurmukhi — not just through one app, but as a longer-term effort focused on the language and script itself.

We refer to this body of work as 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗸𝗵𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.

The Gurmukhi Project is an initiative focused on building digital infrastructure for Gurmukhi script across digital platforms — while maintaining a high standard of usability and design.
