We're getting ready for our first fair tomorrow in Townsend, the Friends of the Library are sponsoring this one. There's a huge craft fair on the Townsend green that's our budget isn't quite ready for but Truckapalooza has been organized at the Townsend library on Dudley Rd, and they've added a craft fair and lots of stuff for children.

Ever wonder if God has said that others are more important than we are? Many are confused, I think, by some of the heart issues that scripture asks us to consider. "Consider others more important than yourselves..." (Phil.2:3b) is one of those passages.
This morning, while reading I decided to dive a little deeper and see if I could discover just what this word meant.
I made a screen-shot of the explanation of this word "consider". You'll see, as I did, that it's a matter of the heart. Rather than ever having a better-than attitude, we are to remain in a humble mindset, because thinking of someone as not as honest, not as holy, not as smart, can set us up for pride - a dangerous character flaw.

This is challenging, I think, to most Christians, but it begs the questions, Who are we living for? and, Are we willing ...
