This is the same green tourmaline I posted recently, now showing its refractive index reading on my refractometer. Tourmaline is doubly refractive, which is why you're seeing those two rainbow-like reflections on the reading! 🌈💎

Tonight I worked alittle later so unfortunately did not have the time to finish my modified brilliant square tourmaline, although I snuck onto my desk for a couple of hours. Took alittle bit of time to get it realigned again but once it clicked the polish started taking pretty quickly ill do my best to finish rhis tomorrow and get the full trendormation video I promised!

We are all set to take this tourmaline through final polish, tomorrow its going to hit 15k polish facet-by-facet. After a quick clean of any extra grit, ill be moving onto 80k final polish to really bring out that shine!
