The Anthemion mini wall hanging embroidery kit is inspired by a traditional Greek embroidery motif and I love this technique of using Romanian couching and stem stitch—so simple yet so effective! And, I include the beechwood tapestry rod in the kit so you can stitch up a little folk embroidery textile art in just a few stitching sessions.

I've been loving the research on wellness and handcraft that I've been doing for the upcoming Courtyard Retreat in Oct. Article after article, book after book, I'm re-learning what I've known for years but what science is just beginning to catch up with--that we have an amazing opportunity for wellness, emotional regulation, calm, building cognitive reserves, and achieving flow, all when we pick up our needle and thread!
