Sitka Tsunami Wrestling now has registration open for our Fall preseason session. Visit www.sitkawrestling.com to sign up and learn more information. This session will be two days a week, practice only with no Friday night matches. Wednesday & Thursday 5-6pm in the basement of Blatchley Middle School.

Our Fish & Chips Fundraiser on Sunday evening was a great success, our team and board are so incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to support Sitka Tsunami Wrestling Club!

To everyone who bought a plate, donated an auction item or dessert, placed a bid, volunteered, helped behind the scenes, or simply showed up to support our wrestlers, a huge thank you to all! It truly takes a community to make opportunities like this possible for our kids, and Sitka showed up in a big way.

We’ll be sharing some more personal words of gratitude in our local paper and sending individual thank you cards. But for now, please know how genuinely grateful we are for each and every person and business who helped make our fundraiser such a success.

Join the Sitka Tsunami Wrestling Club for an evening of good food, good company, and supporting our local wrestlers!

FISH N’ CHIPS FUNDRAISER & AUCTION
Sunday, September 27th | 5–8 PM | Sitka Elks Club

We’ll also be holding an auction featuring homemade desserts and donated goods from our amazing community!

Every plate purchased, dessert bid on, and auction item donated helps provide opportunities for our young wrestlers. Funds raised help cover gym rental, singlets, replacement mats, tournament travel, and the many other expenses that keep our kids on the mat.

YOUTH WRESTLING CAMP!

We are excited to announce that Sam Carney has coordinated with North Idaho College Wrestling Coach Cooper Thomas to bring a Youth Wrestling Camp to Wrangell next month!

A huge thank you to Ambre & Sig Burrell, Muddy Water Adventures, and Joy & Dave Miller for making this opportunity possible by purchasing Coach Thomas's airfare and providing housing during his stay. We are grateful for the community support that helps make programs like this happen!

⏰ Daily Sessions:
• 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

• Hand Fighting Systems
• Snap Downs & Front Headlock
• Finishing Shots
• Shot Defense

Ages: 8–18 years old
Cost: $20 per wrestler
(Proceeds help cover Community Center cleaning and utility costs.)

Friendly reminder - Tonight, Thursday April 9 we will be having a short wrestler parents meeting between younger and older kids practice 5-5:15.

Every wrestler needs a parent in attendance. We will keep it short and to the point.

Additionally, following that meeting we will be having an informative meeting for families interested in attending the state wrestling tournament in Wasilla April 30- May 2. This is a chance for us to inform about the tournament and hopefully answer any questions that you may have.
