Apparently today’s personality is “antiqued copper and carnelian.” 😂

I made this little Helm Flower piece using antiqued copper-colored iron alloy rings with a warm carnelian bead tucked right into the center, and I’m kind of obsessed with how much character it has for such a small piece.

It feels a little earthy, a little old-world, and just dramatic enough to look like it may have been found in a suspiciously well-stocked apothecary.

Naturally, I approve. 😂

Something gorgeous happened today! 🤗

And by “happened,” I mean I opened approximately 600 tiny rings, questioned several life choices, closed approximately 600 tiny rings…and somehow this came out of it. 😂

I absolutely love how the soft pink center looks against all that bright silver chainmail. It’s delicate, a little dramatic, slightly medieval, and apparently incapable of minding its own business.

Basically, it fits right in around here.

Helm weave: because apparently just connecting rings normally wasn’t complicated enough. 😂

Apparently one Full Persian piece wasn’t enough, so here we are again. 😂

This time it’s a Bright Aluminum Full Persian 6-in-1 Necklace that is woven from 18 AWG 4mm rings for that dense, rope-like look without the weight you’d expect from something this substantial.

It’s shiny. It’s lightweight. It looks like it took forever to make.

And, well… that last part is not entirely inaccurate. 😂

A little twist. A little shine. A whole lot of tiny rings refusing to behave until they become something pretty. 😂

This Double Spiral chainmail bracelet is made with 18 AWG bright aluminum 4mm rings, all hand coiled and hand cut before being woven into that gorgeous twisting pattern.

I love this weave because it looks intricate without being bulky. Guys, I am serious when I tell you that these bright aluminum rings are sturdy but LIGHT, I can honestly forget that I’m wearing it because it’s so light! And for someone with sensory issues around textures and weight on my wrists, that’s saying something! Just enough texture to catch the light and make you look twice.
