Today I completed 10 hours of Instructional Design Training, and I'm incredibly excited about where this journey may lead.

As many of you know, I love exploring folklore, herbal traditions, forgotten customs, and the stories hidden within everyday objects.

One of my goals is to combine my formal background as a course creator and educator with my passion for all things forest, folklore, and mystery to create engaging learning experiences for our community.

Imagine taking a journey through the history of mermaids, discovering the stories behind historic perfumes and ritual waters, learning about hearth protection dolls, sacred herbs, or the folklore woven into candles, honey, bells, keys, and other treasured objects.

Perhaps we'll even create a few projects together along the way. ✨️

I'm still learning, exploring, and gathering ideas, but this is the direction I'm working toward. The possibility of sharing these stories through classes, workshops, videos, and hands-on projects is something that truly excites me.

Thank you for being part of this adventure. I look forward to sharing what I learn, discovering new stories together, and continuing to build a community that celebrates creativity, curiosity, folklore, and wonder.

This weekend I wandered up to Redgranite, Wisconsin, and had the pleasure of meeting a family of talented craftsmen creating truly remarkable handmade pieces.

A few of the treasures that came home with me were these hand-carved wooden bowls.

The moment I saw them, I knew they were perfect for my little forest creatures and woodland displays.

The natural curves, bark edges, and grain patterns make each bowl completely unique. No two are alike.

I love searching for just the right pieces to share with you. Not things stamped out by a machine, but pieces with character, history, and a story behind them. Little works of art that bring a touch of the forest indoors.

This woodland owl found its nest almost immediately. 🦉🌿

Some exciting news has been quietly brewing over here... 🌿

This fall, I’ll officially be returning to college to begin my Master’s in Integrative Health at the American College of Healthcare Sciences.

Honestly, this journey has already changed me in ways I never expected. What started as curiosity and creativity is slowly turning into something much bigger... a true passion for learning about herbs, wellness, nature, formulation, and the connection between tradition and modern understanding.

As part of the program, I’ll be studying herbs, essential oils, online educational techniques, and other wellness topics in much greater depth, which honestly feels like the perfect blend of everything I love most.

Iron Vixen Herbal Co. was never just about “making products.” It was about creating experiences. Tiny rituals. Things that feel grounding, comforting, wild, beautiful, and just a little magical.

Going back to school feels like the next step in that path.

I want to keep learning.

I want to keep growing.

And I want to continue creating thoughtful products inspired by wild nature, whimsy, folklore, and a touch of everyday magic. 🌲🦊

Thank you to everyone who has supported this strange little dream of mine so far. Truly. You’ve helped inspire me to dream even bigger.
