Good morning, friends of Seasonal Maine. ❤️ There is something about Sunday mornings that carries its own quiet essence. You do not have to be religious to feel it. It is in the stillness of the early morning light, the way the world seems to pause, and the way we may breathe a little deeper. 😮‍💨 Some people may find that feeling by worshipping in church. Others find it on a walk, in a memory, or simply with a cup of coffee while wishing friends a good morning before starting their day. ☕️The spirit of Sunday and the beginning of a new week is for everyone. It is a gentle reset and a chance to feel grateful and at peace. 🙏🏻 Wishing everyone a calm and restful day, and a safe and happy week ahead. 🫶🌤️✨⛪️

After just a few months of renovations, things are moving even faster than we imagined, and we couldn't be more excited about what's ahead!

Seasonal Maine is now located at 275 Main Street, South Berwick, Maine, with a projected retail opening in early Spring 2027. In the meantime, our website is open for orders, and limited local pickup is already available.

We're also looking for talented Maine artisans and makers to help fill our shelves with unique products that celebrate everything people love about Maine. If you'd like to have your work considered, we'd love to hear from you!

Good morning everyone, and happy Tuesday! 🥰 What a refreshing start to the day here in Maine with cool temps, clear skies, and that gentle summer feeling that makes you breathe in a little deeper. 🌅 Black-eyed Susans are another flower that grows wild all along our state, bringing cheerfulness wherever you find them. 🌼 Their name goes back to an old British poem about a dark-eyed Susan bidding farewell to her sailor sweetheart ⚓. Symbolically, they have long represented encouragement and motivation, a little reminder to keep going, keep smiling, and keep sharing kindness wherever you can. 💛 So, as we step into this new day, may we be encouraged to enjoy every minute of it and be inspired to share our own happiness with everyone we meet. 🫶 🌞✨🌼💛

Calling All Maine Artisans

Seasonal Maine is looking for talented local artisans and makers who would like to have their products considered for our new retail shop in downtown South Berwick.

Our mission is simple:

To spread the love of Maine.

Seasonal Maine will offer a thoughtfully curated collection of Maine-made and Maine-themed products that celebrate the places, traditions, creativity, and character people love about our state.

We are not exclusively a “Made in Maine” store. Our collection includes products sourced from a variety of makers and suppliers, with local artisan work playing an important and valued role in the Seasonal Maine shopping experience.

*A Small Shop with a Carefully Curated Collection*

Seasonal Maine is a very small shop with a limited retail footprint in downtown South Berwick. We are just getting underway, and shelf space will be limited and carefully selected.

Because space is at a premium, we may not be able to accept every product or carry large quantities. Our goal is to build a balanced collection featuring quality products that complement the Seasonal Maine brand and offer customers something distinctive.

Our retail store is expected to open in Spring 2027. However, selected artisan products may be made available for sale through our website much sooner.

*Artisan Partnership Program*

Our proposed consignment arrangement includes:

- The artisan receives 60% of the retail selling price
- Seasonal Maine retains 40%
- The artisan retains ownership of the products until they sell
- Sales summaries and payments are provided monthly
- Seasonal Maine handles in-store merchandising, customer service, payment processing, and promotion
- Selected products may also be featured and sold through our online store

For online orders fulfilled by Seasonal Maine, customers will generally pay the applicable shipping charge. Shipping and fulfillment details will be discussed before a product is added online.

Good morning and a happy Monday to all! 😍 Sweet corn season is underway, so get it while you can! 🌽 Like everything else, the price has gone up a little this year, to around $12 a dozen in some places, but when you think about what it cost the farmer to grow it, it's a bargain and truly nothing beats the taste of native-grown corn! 😋 Also, it's always a good thing to support your local farmers! 👩‍🔧 Get out and treat yourself to a taste of summer with some farm fresh vegetables and the beautiful weather we are expecting today. 🌞 Life is great but short like this season, so enjoy every bit of it while it's here! 🫶🌞🌽🧈😎

Good morning and happy Sunday, friends! Plain and simple, the historic Spurwink Church built in 1802 is located on Spurwink Ave. above the Spurnick River in Cape Elizabeth. It was built by the residents themselves who were determined to have their own place of worship. ⛪️ May your day be filled with smiles, laughter, kindness and peace! 🫶🌞⛪️

Good morning and happy Thursday everyone! 😎 We've all heard of Maine's iconic lighthouses, but have you ever heard of a day beacon? This one is known as the Stage Island Monument, located near Biddeford Pool, and I wouldn't have guessed its purpose if not for this breathtaking image of it silhouetted against the Milky Way that caught my eye! 😍 Built in 1825 from stone, it stands 60 feet tall, and unlike a lighthouse, it has no guiding light. Instead, it served as a daytime navigational aid, guiding mariners safely into Wood Island Harbor. At night, sailors relied on the Wood Island Lighthouse with its beacon and fog bell to lead them safely through the darkness. ✨ Just another interesting tale of two guardians of the seas - one who watches by day, and one who glows by night. ❤ As we head out for our own journey today, may you be safe and surrounded by light, whether from the sunshine above or the warmth of a friendly smile. ☺️💙🌊🌞🫶
