Important Update Regarding Virginia’s Assault Weapon Ban and Old Dominion Armaments stance.

As many of you have likely seen, an injunction went into effect today that limits enforcement of Virginia’s new Assault Weapon Ban.

While we understand what the injunction is intended to do, there is still too much gray area for us to confidently proceed with transfers of fi****ms that may fall under the law. Until we receive clearer guidance that leaves little room for interpretation, Old Dominion Armament will temporarily pause transfers of fi****ms classified under the Assault Weapon Ban.

Suppressor transfers are NOT affected and will continue as normal.

We know this may be frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience and support as we navigate this situation. Our goal has always been to operate responsibly while continuing to serve our customers.

We remain hopeful that this legal process will ultimately protect the rights of Virginia’s law-abiding gun owners. Thank you for standing with us, and we’ll provide updates as soon as we have clearer guidance.

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING VIRGINIA FI****MS LEGISLATION 🚨

Due to upcoming Virginia legislation taking effect July 1, 2026, Old Dominion Armament will no longer be accepting incoming firearm transfers after Sunday, June 14, 2026.

If you have already purchased a firearm and it is being shipped to us, but is not expected to arrive before June 14th, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to work with you on a solution.

Any firearm that arrives after June 14th without prior arrangements having been made will be returned to the sender. The customer will be responsible for any return shipping costs incurred.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: We are not responsible for any fi****ms left in our possession after July 1, 2026. Any firearm that remains at Old Dominion Armament after that date cannot be transferred to you, transferred to another individual, or returned to the manufacturer. The firearm will remain in the possession of Old Dominion Armament until we determine the appropriate legal process for handling and/or returning these fi****ms.

If you currently have a firearm awaiting pickup, please contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements. We will not be individually reaching out to customers, as many distributors and manufacturers only provide a customer name and do not provide contact information.

We appreciate your understanding during this time and remain hopeful that this unnecessary legislation is overturned or amended in the near future.

We will be closed Thursday-Sunday as we head to South Carolina for CANCON East!
