Your washing machine works hard for you—give it a little help.
A few simple habits can keep your washer running better and your clothes coming out cleaner:
• Don't overload the washer. Clothes need room to move so they can get properly cleaned.
• Use the recommended amount of detergent. More soap doesn't mean cleaner clothes—it can leave residue on your laundry and inside your machine.
• Empty pockets before every load. Coins, screws, and other small items can damage your washer.
• Leave the washer door or lid open after you're done to help it dry out and reduce odors.
A little washer care today can save you from bigger headaches tomorrow.
