Unfortunately I am not able to advertise at Doling on Atlantic - Events, Community Center, Offices, & Studios. 1423 W. ATLANTIC ST SPRINGFIELD MO 417 527 6940
Totally frustrated and done!!!!!

EVENT CENTER WITH BASICALLY EVERYTHING MINUS FOOD AND BEVERAGES $370.30 ALL DAY
SMALLER ONES AVAILABLE TOO. BASICALLY HALF.
Sounds crazy, but even though hundreds of children went to school here all the way back to 1916. I can't advertise. It's against the law according to Springfield right now. NUTS!
I can't get the City, PandZ, or BDS to officially to "grant" the business license. Or to "permit" the business or occupancy at the school where hundreds of kids, faculty, and parents have gone to since 1916. Seriously and not kidding. I have Conditional Use Permit 460 from the previous potential buyers. Great folks, they ended up buying the Oak Grove School. Honestly useful. I wish I were making it up. But I can't do anything.
Seriously, six months. Architect. Engineer. Approximately $17k to pay them. Springfield hasn't put their hand out yet to pay them.
I have 15 working restrooms and toilets on my first floor. Not ok.
$50K for two new ones in the Event Center, but I can't call it Event Center anymore. Essentially illegal. Let's go with Really Cool Space For You!
Crazy! Sounds completely insane right!
That's we're we are though now!
Hundreds of kids went to school here at Doling from 1916 to roughly 2002.
Then it was a Parents as Teachers office location from then to 2002 or so to 2019.
The city also used it as a homeless warming station.
And the city also used it as a COVID response location.
Ever wondered why all the historic buildings go down. Call me 417 527 6940
When I bought it, I just wanted a house, a place to play co****le (break, some will be awful at this point. Before that, research the game. We play on ESPN. We have major national advertisers and personalities such as Peyton Manning.). It's a real sport. It's my house now!
Then secondarily I wanted to help small businesses and non-profits.
24 year retired Army Veteran. I've always loved people. For goodness sakes was the Rear Detachment Commander and Family Readiness Liason.Per capita the biggest FRG in Europe. Why? Because they trusted me to take care of them to my best ability.
2019 Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year
COVOD 2020 out of business and divorced. For the next year it was as awful as anyone could imagine.
Before I bought it in 2024. There were several outside and neighborhood concerns about the property. My neighbor Laura helped guide me through the first months. She still does. She ought to be the neighborhood Sheriff!!!
We've built community. We watch out for each other. We care about each other. My friend bought Glad Tidings with a few partners. You would have to ask him exactly why they purchased the property. They saved it.
My friends at Queen of All Saints Church are also amazing neighbors. I don't happen to be Catholic, but they seem to love me despite my perceived religious discrepancies.
The point...
Help me help the City!
I've invested over $300k into Doling.
Last I checked Andy's got $30m? In loans to just stay in Springfield.

How much for Wes? For Doling? For this part of Woodland Heights?
Total $0.00
I actually tried to build a lighting plan to light up Atlantic Street, businesses, non-profits,churches, and schools. It's public record.
Not an incling of support
I can at least say they knew about it because I wanted an investor to get control of it.
It was being broken into at least every other month on the new part of the building. The old part ai couldn't say because it was outside of my view.
Now, no break ins. They spent a lot of money and demolished the old Glad Tidings building. They deserve congratulations!!! Thanks fellas!!!
Twice featured on COPS for prostitution, pimps, and Cops. Awful
Homeless rampant in the neighborhood. No more
Addicted roaming freely through the neighborhood. No more
Homeless, drug addicts, squatters ,scared, lost. They were all living at Doling or Glad Tidings. NO MORE!
Say it wasn't? Woodland Heights Neighborhood. Becky and I used to be buds. Citizen of year I believe for her? She's Woodland Heights Neighborhood Association Leader. She does some nice things for the neighborhood. Paint the poles, flowers for the neighborhood, dirt day, story time I believe she helped get the pretty mural painted on Grant. Appreciate that.
We need your help Becky. We're investing real money. A lot.Help us with city approvals, grants, etc. We need that assistance.
Council Woman Horton we need you as well. We're investing in the neighborhood. I personally have not received a cent from the city.
TBH no mas..
You're supposed to help us. Shut me down. I won't be intimidated anymore. I'm tired of worrying.
Local media or National outlets. Swing by or call. TY! ♥️💯💥@
