We are so excited and can’t wait to talk all about flowers and business and learning as we go!

Join the Effingham County Young Farmers Association this Thursday, September 10th, for our September Chapter Meeting and Agricultural Program!

We’re excited to welcome The Flower Farm Stand of Springfield for the September Educational Program! The program will highlight the marketing and operation of a local flower farm and farm stand, giving attendees a look at this unique and growing area of local agriculture.

We’ll also cover chapter business and look ahead to several upcoming Young Farmer events and activities!

A meal will be provided. Today, September 8th, is the RSVP deadline, so please RSVP as soon as possible to help us plan accurately for the meal. If you miss the deadline, call or text to check meal availability.

Please note that our September Young Farm“hers” Ladies Program will be held separately at Butterducks Winery, with additional information coming soon!

Please be aware that this meeting is open to anyone interested in becoming involved with the Effingham County Young Farmers!

WE LOVE YOU PICK DAYS. 🤍

There is something different about a bouquet when you know exactly where it came from.

You saw it growing.

You walked through the field.

You chose the flowers.

You cut them yourself.

And then you carried them home.

That’s what we’re building here at The Flower Farm Stand.

Not just a place to buy flowers, but a place where our community can experience flowers, farming and the little piece of land we’re lucky enough to grow on. 🌱

You don’t need a green thumb.

You don’t need to know what every flower is called.

You don’t need to bring anything.

You just come to the farm, grab your container and clippers, and head into the field.

Find the flowers you love.

Cut them.

Fill your container.

Take them home.

That’s it. 💐

And honestly, the best part might be the time you spend in the field doing it.
