Helpful Hint: Clean the lint trap before every load in your dryer. This will prevent a fire hazard, save you energy, and make your clothes dry faster.
Regardless of what kind of dryer vent you have, you should have them cleaned every year and remember, don't let lint and debris accumulate under a dryer or it can become a fire hazard!
If your dryer vent is white vinyl, you should have it replaced with rigid or semi-rigid aluminum vent. White vinyl ducts no longer meet building codes and are flammable.
