This book angered me so much. It made me ill. Those poor women. It’s a true story and you should definitely check it out.

The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America's Shining Women by Kate Moore is a non-fiction book about young women in the 1920s who worked painting luminous watch dials with radium, only to suffer horrific health consequences like bone decay and cancer from the toxic paint, leading them to fight a groundbreaking legal battle against their employers for justice and workers' rights. The book details their suffering, the corporate cover-ups, and their courageous fight, which ultimately led to crucial regulations for workplace safety.

🌙🐉 Brit Brit’s Current Read! 🐉🌙

Lee Ann and I are both reading When the Moon Hatched by Sarah A. Parker, and we are having such a FUN time with it!

The world building is incredible, the story is beautifully written, and there’s just the right amount of dragons, magic, and intrigue to keep you hooked. If you’re listening to the audiobook, the narrators are also fantastic and bring a lot of personality to the story.

We both HIGHLY recommend giving this one a try!
