Grand rising! Have a great day! Look for the goodness and be thankful! It’s what you “see” and “think” that gives you the power to make it through.

This week I embarked on something new and I felt very overwhelmed by it. I was talking to someone and they brought to my attention that it is how I was looking at this new thing that brought so much pressure to me. Instead of it being another thing to add to my plate, it is actually an opportunity to enhance what I already have. Each day I have thanked God for this opportunity that He has blessed me with. It has made all the difference!

What is one of the oldest items you have that you STILL use?

I participate in many online communities. A couple of weeks ago one of my business women networking communities asked, “What is one of the oldest items you have that you still use?”

I thought about it, although there are many that I have-including clothes (LOL!). I couldn’t forget my trusty old GE digital alarm clock radio (from the late 80s or 90s). I use it every night right beside my side of the bed while I sleep. I often wake up many times during the night and I NEED to know what time it is and how much longer do I have until the time to get up. This alarm clock radio has been with me for many years-through many nights, days, houses, and time zones. The alarm nor does many radio stations have signals BUT the digital lights and numbers are still doing their job by telling me what time it is at 3:00 AM!

So tell me…What is one of the oldest items you have that you are STILL using? Please share your items and the stories behind them in the comments. I would get a kick out of your answers!
