We have been busy in the Brimka Haus Botanicals home studio getting ready for tomorrow’s Sun Prairie Farmer's Market, and we are thrilled to introduce our brand-new Calendula Soothing Tallow Balm!

Did you know there is no such thing as Vanilla Essential Oil? There are plenty of synthetic "vanilla" fragrance oils.

Sunflower oil is the ultimate choice for infusing calendula flowers because its lightweight texture and thin consistency allow it to deeply pe*****te the delicate, papery petals.

This makes it incredibly efficient at breaking down the plant walls to extract the maximum amount of calendula’s natural, skin-soothing properties. Because sunflower oil is naturally high in barrier-repairing linoleic acid, it works in perfect harmony with the calming properties of the flowers to target dry, sensitive, or irritated skin without leaving a heavy, greasy residue behind.

The soap studio has been busy! I am officially hooked on crafting these bars, and I have two brand new creations curing on the shelves right now. First up is our ultra-creamy Vegan Coconut Shea Butter soap, which will launch in just under four weeks. Behind it is a deeply conditioning Tallow Lavender bar made with a luxurious 12% superfat, which will take a full 6 weeks to cure to perfection. Which one are you most excited to try?
