A morning of local makers, handmade goods, and community all under one roof. Shop small, support local, grow together.

Happy Labor Day! What better way to kick off the week (and enjoy your day off) than with a little movement and mindfulness?

Monday Midday Flow starts TODAY at 12:30pm.
Never tried yoga before? This gentle practice is the perfect place to start. No experience needed.

Been practicing for years? Gentle flow is a beautiful reset for your body and breath too.

Come as you are. Some mats and blocks available, if needed. All levels welcome.

Last week, a young woman who had visited us during a Sip & Stitch Sunday Social stopped back by, completely unannounced, with her husband. She wasn’t in the area for anything studio-related. She just wanted to share a few resources with me in person. Things she thought could help the studio with connections and visibility.

No agenda. No ask. Just thoughtfulness, freely given.

That’s connection in its purest form. The kind that shows up when you least expect it and asks for nothing in return.

We snapped a photo in front of the wall before she left. A small moment that meant a lot.

Yesterday’s crochet class was such a good one. 🧶 Two friends joined me, one had never picked up a hook before and the other learned from her grandmother years ago, and it was a good reminder of why I love teaching this way.

I like working with each person at their own pace. If one of them picked something up quicker than the other, I wasn’t going to make her wait, I’d have her practice it a bit more while I moved the other one on to the next step. Everyone gets there, just not always at the same time, and that’s okay. (Ain’t that life?!? 😊)

One of them told me, “I love what you’re doing here.” Small words, but they land bigger than people probably realize. Running this space isn’t always easy, and moments like that are a little breath of fresh air that reminds me why I keep going.

They also got there a little early and browsed the boutique area, where the Blessed bracelets caught on of their eyes. She ended up buying two, one for herself and one for her friend, and when I asked if she wanted a box, she said “oh no, we’re putting them on right now, I love these colors.” Watching them put the bracelets on each other right there was such a sweet moment.

A reminder: even though we call it Crochet 101, if you already know some basics, come anyway. I’ll meet you where you are and help you take it further.

Our next crochet class is coming up September 19th, and our Sip & Stitch Sunday Social on the 20th. Come create with us!
