✍️🎨The evolution of our main character .book
How it came to be:
For fun, my fiancé took to his using
I found a ton of inspiration for and we played around with a few different styles.
He created this dog almost jokingly but I was instantly ‘drawn’ to it! 😆 Love the doodle concept and how it’s perfectly imperfect 😍
(a lesson learned in the story…)
We added in some watercolour and shading. The yellow to me is a happy colour and its face reminds me of a smiling emoji 🙂 It makes me happy when looking at it 💛🐶 Hope you feel the same!
Next challenge was developing all of the other characters, settings, pages, and choosing a colour palette, keeping it consistent OH MY! 🤪
I knew then it was time to hire a professional 😂
I will definitely post more about this process.
