So it’s officially time to say farewell to the 2022 season. I’ve been dragging my feet to make this post, but I want to reflect on my first year flower farming! I started the process in January 2022 doing research, buying way too many seeds (lol) and creating a garden layout. Once spring rolled around, I began doing farmers markets, selling bouquets and potted plants. I loved seeing the joy that the things I made brought to people!
This collection of photos are some of my favorites from my first official season. I take so much pride in each of these flowers that I worked so hard to grow (and I enjoyed the work!). There were many epic fails along the way that I was forced to brush off and keep moving. Plants can be finicky, but you’re not a real plant person unless you have killed many plants in your life! Or at least that’s how I feel lol.
I am grateful for all the wonderful people in my life who showed an immense amount of support in something I’m so passionate about. I would also like to thank all the people who trusted Flower Frenzy to create something beautiful for one of their loved ones. From graduations to birthdays to just gifting a bouquet to someone because you love them, I thank you for letting me help you bring joy to that person!
This year I am embarking on a journey to expand my knowledge of Plant Science and complete my degree. But rest assured, I will be back in the spring for round 2! Feel free to stick around and I might share a peek at some of the things I’m growing at school! Again, thank you all for a great season and I will see you in 2023!🥰🌸
