I get to enjoy time with my granddaughters, who will be staying here for a few days, so baking duties will be on the back burner. I will also be preparing for my first ever small wedding expo event, which will be held in Aurora. Thank you for your understanding. Carol

The 'boss' is celebrating something special today! We're celebrating 41 years today! We've got two sons, 39 and almost 37, two lovely daughters-in-law, and three adorable grandkids. Life is one big blessing! And guess what, I'm not baking an anniversary cake today, LOL.

It is my pleasure to welcome another new client from Iowa with connections to their former hometown, Aurora. Their generous praise yesterday left me feeling deeply appreciative and humbled. Their expressed enthusiasm and satisfaction, highlighting that their expectations were surpassed, was the highlight of my day. I wish I had a video of the mom, dad, and the recent graduate when they saw their order - it truly made my entire day!

Another episode of flooding this week; however, it doesn't reach our house, thank goodness. Guess who doesn't have to spend over 2.5 hours mowing our huge farm yard! I just won the lottery... sort of. It's hard to gauge the scope of this from the deck. There is a lot of water sitting there! It wraps around the backside of our yard beyond what you see here.

Fairly certain I've got the most awesome customers ever! Even when she drives past the spot where she was supposed to pick up her cupcakes from. 😅🤣😂 These awesome treats traveled to Arkansas! That's three states my baked goods have cruised into besides in Nebraska.
