Y’all it’s just 3 days away!!!!

Starting this Friday, September 18th in Sweetwater, Tennessee, the Blooms, Bluegrass & BBQ Festival kicks off with two days of food, music, shopping, and family fun in Historic Downtown Sweetwater! The festival fills the downtown streets with live bluegrass music, barbecue, craft and food vendors, colorful displays, and plenty to see as you walk through town. One of its most unusual sights is the collection of blooming topiaries, with Main Street decorated in music-themed designs for the weekend.

Barbecue is a big part of the celebration, with a BBQ competition joining the many food choices around the festival. Live bluegrass bands perform during both days, giving the downtown area a steady soundtrack of banjos, fiddles, guitars, and old-time mountain music. Families can also spend time in the Kids Zone, and the carnival returns with rides adding even more activity to the streets.

Admission is free. Friday’s festival runs from noon until 8 p.m., followed by a full second day Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. It’s a fun chance to enjoy small-town East Tennessee while browsing vendors, hearing live music, seeing the topiaries, and grabbing plenty of barbecue.
