This is my wedding bouquet and today is our wedding anniversary. I designed my bouquet with all my florals at St. George Island for our wedding. Happy Anniversary to my husband. We have known each other for 27 years, dated for 19 years and married for 13 years today! Neither of us come from much. My father was a carpenter and my mom a floral designer who owned her own business. She was born in Scotland. Her and her family were immigrants. My husband’s parents rose to the ranks in the military and banking coming from small towns in West Virginia. Early in life my father-in-law bathed in a creek and had no running water. Both sets of parents taught us what it is to have grit and what it is to work hard. Both sets of parents showed us the love and longevity of marriage. And I am grateful for that as well. Our love makes us wealthy with the surety of all the constants we bring to one another and being united always in all ways. I am extremely grateful for my husband for his constant support of my passions, our family and this floral business…The Highland Gardener. Happy Anniversary! Slainte agus tainte!
