Most operators blame heat when refrigeration starts struggling during summer.
But in Florida, humidity is usually the real problem.
Every walk-in door opening allows warm, moisture-heavy air into the box. Over time, that humidity builds into
evaporator coil icing, frozen fan motors, sweating doors, clogged drain lines, and reduced airflow.
That extra moisture forces refrigeration systems to run longer and work harder just to maintain temperature.
The longer those issues go unchecked, the higher the risk of product loss and emergency downtime during peak operating hours.
