To Love an Empath
is no easy feat.

She seems to feel too deeply
She seems to be too delicate
You will feel a call to protect her
To shield her
To fix her

But friend, she is not broken.

To love an Empath
You must love
All of her.

The tears she sheds
You’ll want to wipe them away,
but she’ll promise you they are her war paint

The scars she bears
You’ll want to heal them
but she’ll tell you they are tattooed reminders
of her resilience

The hands she extends
You’ll want to lighten their load
but she’ll insist
the weight is only making her stronger

The rapid beat of her heart
You’ll want to steady it, quiet it
but she’ll begin to dance away
drumming her feet to the sound of her battle song.

And even the pain, the sadness, the fear,
You’d do anything to quell,
She’ll whisper to you
that she’d rather feel this…
than be numb to the world's suffering.

To love an Empath
You must acknowledge her feelings
Offer her space to mourn, to rage, to hope, to love

You must believe in her calling
even when you don’t hear it

Her passion is not a choice
It is her nature… her Wild.

Yes, to love an Empath is not easy
But the love she’ll offer in return
is one like no other.

To love an Empath
You must love
all of her ♥️

She doesn’t care who she loses anymore…
As long as she doesn’t lose herself again, she’s good.

Because she’s been there before... where she gave too much, loved too hard, stayed too long. Where she bent until she was unrecognizable. Where her own needs got quieter and quieter while she tried to keep the wrong people happy. And what did it cost her? Her peace. Her confidence. Her voice.
She’s not doing that again.
She’s not sacrificing herself to prove she’s worthy. She’s not overextending to earn someone’s bare minimum. She’s not going to keep holding space for people who have no problem watching her slowly disappear. Never again.

Now? She protects her energy like her life depends on it... because it does. She knows what it feels like to be emotionally drained, mentally exhausted, and spiritually empty from pouring into people who wouldn’t even refill her glass. And she’s done calling that “love.”
She doesn’t fear walking away anymore. She doesn’t chase clarity. She doesn’t beg to be understood. If your presence in her life requires her to shrink, second-guess herself, or compromise her worth… she’ll choose distance every time.
That’s growth. That’s healing. That’s a woman who’s learned the hard way that losing yourself is the worst kind of loss.

So let them leave. Let them talk. Let them misunderstand her. She’s not explaining who she is to people who were committed to never seeing her clearly anyway.
She’d rather be alone with her peace than surrounded by people who make her question her value.
She doesn’t care who she loses anymore…
because this time, she refuses to lose herself.

I am not afraid to embrace the intensity within me what it is through discomfort and self-discovery that I find true transformation. The hardest walk is the walk you make alone. But it is the walk that makes you strong, makes you confident, makes you independent, makes you fearless the sun is alone eagles fly alone but they are both powerful.

I like to start off with much much much gratitude to the people in my life whom remind me that I am living proof that a shattered heart can still beat. This message is for those who've been misunderstood, for the ones who've loved too much and been loved too little and for every soul still whispering "Is this all there is?" Deborah's answer, forged in the fire, is a roar, "NO". "RISE".
