Happy 95th birthday to Laurel, Mississippi’s own Leontyne Price, one of the greatest performers to ever grace the stage. Watch her during the last notes of one of her final performances at the Met—how she tries to stay in character through what would be a five minute ovation; obviously moved. What a treasure!
