We want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped out at Makers Exchange yesterday and shopped during the Fall Festival! The turnout was incredible and we are so grateful for all the work that the Makers Exchange team put in to make it a success. There were so many large gaps on our shelves, which was wonderful to see. Thank you for continuing to support our small business! It means more than you can imagine!

Soooo….. today marked the start of setting up for our first Christmas season as East River Collective! A new name deserves a bigger tree (9 feet) and an evergreen arch for our space. Fun fact: Amanda and I tied the knot under this same arch back in 2024! ❤️

Don’t worry! There’s still time to shop fall as well! 🍂 We will be celebrating both seasons at once for a few weeks. ☺️

The Makers Exchange Fall Festival is today, rain or shine! Grab your rain boots and come enjoy all the fall vibes! 🍂 Today, there are outdoor vendors, live music, and fun fall-themed food to enjoy as well! Many hands have been working tirelessly to make this event possible, so please don’t let the rain keep you away!

Our space is restocked and ready for you! All of our remaining fall inventory is out, including our pumpkin candles (not a lot left) and artificial mums (a few orange, tan, and white). If you’ve been eyeing something, don’t wait much longer!

Tomorrow, we are moving full steam ahead and will debut our Christmas candle collection! 🎄Stay tuned for more on that.

Shoutout to The Harvest in Lennox, SD for helping us get our front porch decorated for fall! They have a beautiful selection of home grown pumpkins, gourds, and broom corn. Check them out for your live decor this season!

Happy 2nd Birthday to Makers Exchange! 🎉

It’s hard to believe it’s already been 2 years since Makers Exchange opened. Time really flies and so much has changed since then! We are so thankful to be a part of their retail store experience and are excited to see what the future holds!

Stop by this weekend and shop our fall collection for anything you may need to finish your fall 🍂decorating! If you haven’t started yet, what are you waiting for?! 🤪 Haha, it’s okay. There’s still plenty of time to decorate for fall and enjoy the season.

If you are looking for a fun Fall event this weekend, visit Junk Fest at the Nest! There will be lots of great vendors with unique treasures to see. We will not be there this year due to a scheduling conflict, however, you can still stop by Makers Exchange and see our fall collection!

The weather forecast of 77 degrees on Saturday sounds perfect. There are only 2 more sleeps until the 16th Annual Fall Junk Fest at the Nest.

Today, Facebook reminded me that one year ago we made the big move from the SE corner to the NW corner of Makers Exchange!

One year later and I can’t believe I questioned if moving to this larger space was right for us at the time. Since then, I’ve seen this was one of the best moves we’ve made in order to grow, right next to changing our name. Enjoy these throwback photos of the early days in our current space, which has continued to change and evolve!
