Good morning!
This event, sponsored by St. Ann's Parish in Coppell, raises money to fund their Thanksgiving Baskets community project each year. This is a worthy cause and a class A tournament! The contest is in Ft. Worth and open to men & women. If you're ready to golf in cooler weather, register now and support this worthwhile project.

Our dear friend, Eddie, has organized this golf tournament twice a year for over 20 years and we're proud to support his efforts and ask our DFW customers to do the same.

August Activities Final Chapter -

Charley severely injured BOTH index fingers while making jewelry. Not exactly the kind of “handcrafted” story we like to tell! Thankfully, those talented hands are on the mend.

He turned my 60+ year-old baby spoon into a thumb ring for me. Of everything he’s made, this little ring may be one of my favorites. Something that’s been mine since I was a baby now gets to be part of my life all over again. ❤️

So that’s August at IGWT Creations: peppers, flowers, injured fingers, sentimental silverware, a really big truck, baby chicks and thieving squirrels.

Thanks for following along, supporting our little handmade business and letting us share a bit of life beyond the jewelry bench with you this month. ❤️

Not everything we do involves a hammer, a torch or a piece of vintage silverware. Sometimes we’re just living our slightly crazy country life here in Texas.

🌶️ Charley has been growing hot peppers. Because apparently Texas in August just isn’t hot enough.
🌸 I’ve been growing flowers. Somebody around here has to balance out all those peppers.

This month, we thought we’d skip telling you about something new Charley has made and tell you a little about what Charley and I have been up to behind the scenes.

To start - Charley traded my little red Toyota truck for a big Chevy dually. I’m still adjusting to the fact that my cute little red truck has been replaced by something approximately the size of a small Texas county. But this one can pull everything we own!
