You have two choices in life.
Two paths to choose from.
You can choose the worldly path.
The path that gives you temporary satisfaction. The path that looks fun, feels easy, and seems like everyone else is walking it.
It's full of distractions.
It promises happiness, success, acceptance, and everything the world tells us we need.
But eventually, that path leads to emptiness.
Or...
You can choose the narrow path.
The path that leads to God. The path built on truth. The path built on purpose. The path that leads to life.
And depending on the path you choose, it determines where that path ultimately leads.
The narrow path isn't easy.
It isn't the quick and comfortable route. There will be battles. There will be temptations. There will be things thrown at you to distract you, discourage you, and try to knock you off course.
But keep going.
Because the end of that path is beautiful!
The worldly path can look so appealing. It can look exciting. It can look like freedom. It can look like everyone else has it figured out.
But take a hard look.
Sit still for a moment.
Turn down the noise and really listen.
Because deep down, you may realize that the path the world keeps telling you to follow isn't the path you were ever meant to be on.
Jesus told us in Matthew 7:13-14 that the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, while the gate is narrow and the road is difficult that leads to life.
The narrow path may not always be easy.
But it leads to Him.
