I looked over and Puddin had her nose stuck directly in Sprikles’ p*e on the floor.

Then she did that weird goat thing where they curl their upper lip and basically stand there analyzing the smell.

That’s called the Flehmen response, and goats use it to investigate chemical cues — including information found in urine.

But Puddin wasn’t concerned with all that scientific stuff.

According to Puddin…

It smells like bacon. 🥓😂

BIG GOAT or Tiny Horse… Either way, He’ll Take The Butt Scratches 🤣🐐

Mr. Marlin wasn’t impressed when I threw out the old-school karate chop.
President Snow came over to investigate, and neither one of them seemed particularly concerned.
Marlin gave my finger a sniff and made a half-hearted attempt to nibble it before apparently deciding:
Him is not foods. 😂
So I climbed over him like he was a horse, called him a big stallion, and started scratching him down the side.
Then I found the spot he REALLY liked…
The b***y. 🤣😂🤣
Mr. Marlin thoroughly enjoyed his massage, and honestly, that big boy probably would have stood there all day.

After two days of relentless rain, the creek finally jumped its banks.

And when it did, things changed fast.

The goat bridge we’ve used to get the goats across the creek was destroyed by the flood.

Then the water kept coming.

Before long, we were dealing with flooding around the barn too.

This video takes you through what happened as the creek rose, the bridge disappeared, and the water made its way into the barn.

This is one of those parts of farm life you can’t plan for. You can’t control the weather. You can only deal with what it gives you.

The goats still need cared for.

The barn still needs managed.

And you keep moving.

My Goat Bridge Is Destroyed 😩🌊

After 2 days of relentless rain, the creek finally jumped its banks and the flooding hit the farm hard.

16’ x 8’ goat bridge? Destroyed.

Fence? Gone.

Then the goat barn started flooding.

The goats were safe on high ground while I grabbed a push broom and started pushing water back out of the barn. 😩

It was bad, guys. REALLY bad.

But all the goats are safe. ❤️🐐

I opened the way to the pasture and apparently all 25 goats decided they needed to leave in single file.

HOW MANY GOATS ARE THERE?! 😂

It took the entire 20-second video for the whole herd to make their way past.

Your Mind Is Trying To Betray You. Stop Negotiating.

Your mind is really good at convincing you to wait.

“I’ll start tomorrow.”

“Five more cookies won’t matter.”

“I’ll work out later.”

“I hate my job, but I’ll figure something out eventually.”

And then tomorrow comes…

And your mind makes the same argument again.

Years ago, one of the first motivational things I ever said on this channel was:

Why wait for New Year’s Eve? If you resolve to do something, just do it.

I still believe that.

One of the most powerful ways to look at your own life is to imagine you’re watching yourself in a movie.

If the character on the screen was about to make a terrible decision, you’d be screaming at them.

“DON’T OPEN THAT DOOR! THE KILLER IS IN THERE!”

“NO! DON’T GO INTO THE WOODS! YOU KNOW THE MONSTER IS IN THERE!”

So why don’t we do the same thing when we’re watching ourselves make decisions we already know are bad for us?

Your toe isn’t preventing you from mopping the floor.

The sniffles aren’t preventing you from going to work.

And if you hate your job, staying miserable isn’t going to magically create a new career.

You have to take control.

And one of the best ways I’ve found to do that is to eliminate the decision tree.

Am I going to work out today?

YES.

“But it’s 11 p.m.”

YES.

Am I going to look for my dream job while I still have a job?

YES.

Stop reopening decisions you’ve already made.

You don’t need to wait for Monday.

You don’t need to wait for January 1st.

You don’t need to wait for tomorrow.

Make the decision.

Then execute.

The camera.

While I was holding him, he noticed he could see himself on the screen. His curiosity immediately kicked in.

He leaned away…

Then came right back to see if he was still there. 🤣

I’m not sure if he was fascinated by the camera or just making sure everyone got a good look at him.

Either way, he decided the video needed to end with what everyone needs…
